    W HOTEL COSTA RICA

    Costa Rica

W hotel Costa Rica is a modern luxury resort that is surrounded by exotic landscape and white sand beach. This resort features a bold design. W hotel Costa Rica located on 2,300-acre nature reserve home to monkeys, iguanas and others.
There’s 2 swimming pools on the resort property. WET Deck which is Adults Only and Zona Azul Beach Club where kids are welcome featuring infinity pool with an ocean view, kids club and of course the beach.
This is a kids friendly resort. Zona Azul has a kids club where they daily do arts and crafts and other activities. My daughter loved going there for at least an hour almost every day. She even made some souvenirs she got to take home.
Conchal Beach has pure white sand and crystal clear blue water. So unusual for the Pacific Ocean, almost felt like the Caribbean. We enjoyed snorkeling there seeing some fish. Stand up pedal boards come with all-inclusive package. So it was fun to try those one day, especially because there is no waves, so the conditions perfect for it.
It was my first time traveling to Costa Rica and I didn’t know what to expect food wise, I kind of heard that it was supposed to be good and fresh. But W hotel there went above and beyond all of my expectations. Everything was made out of fresh ingredients, high quality produce and alcohol. For dining experiences there is 3 restaurants at the resort.
Cocina de Mercado features international cuisine. It is an open-market concept and includes a large show kitchen, a pizza counter and a griddle station. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is the only place on the property where you can get breakfast, besides room service. Start your day with homemade pancakes and fresh juice. Also we had there a specialty dining experience, unique themed night featuring Mexican cuisine with a W twist.
Zona Azul Beach Club features international cuisine as well. This was our preferred place to get lunch, since W Costa Rica offers full service beachfront including bottle service and craft cocktails. Per out request they would come set up lounge chairs and umbrellas for us on the beach. Waiters were always there if we needed anything, everyone knew our names. The service truly exceptional. Also I recommend you to experience the VIP cabanas by infinity pool. We did also had dinner there one night.
My absolute favorite dinner place there was LATITUD 10° NORTE - Fine dining restaurant with innovative cuisine by their executive chef and the latest Costa Rican mixology trends. This place does require a Formal Dress Code. It’s open 4 days a week. Here’s a tip from me, try to make all your dinner reservations within the first couple of days, so you don’t have to think about it later and you don’t miss out on something.
And yes, the All-inclusive package at W hotel Costa Rica in my opinion definitely worth it. Just the food and alcohol alone made up for it. The reason I say it, because after each time we closed our bill they would ask us to sign it even though we are all-inclusive you know they still expect us to leave tip. So I could see that if we didn’t have this package we would of paid from $400 to $500 at Latitude 10° NORTE per dinner experience.
By the Reseption there is a bar, where you can get food as well, called LIVING ROOM. Sometimes we would chill there listen to life music or DJ.
I got 4 hour full body treatment at AWAY Spa that includes Body Scrub, Body Wrap, Massage and a Facial. They use local skincare products with clean organic ingredients. If you like to workout while on vacation there’s a gym right next door from the spa. I noticed they had there Cardio Equipment and Weight Machines. I really liked floor to ceiling windows facing the jungle.
Hotel rooms and suites remix the local with details like hand-painted patterns, nature-inspired headboards. We stayed at the ocean view room with a balcony that features marble bathroom with an ocean view as well. Mixbar featuring a local custom-crafted surfboard tabletop
